This might be my new favorite podcast, Art Legends in History. It discusses the life and history of each artist as they learned and explored their craft, but also takes on the history of art and various movements from ancient sculptures to contemporary street art. It’s a bingeable whirlwind tour through art history, often giving you a peek into the chaotic life behind some of history’s most famous artists. Each episode, so far, is less than 20 minutes long, so they’re the perfect bite size for every listener. Personally, my favorite episode was about Yayoi Kusama. I honestly had never even heard about this artist before, but after learning about what inspired her art, I wanted to know more. Her story is sad but also weird and cool. Definitely a must listen!
